The Pallarès Profesional is one of our most substantial pairs of kitchen shears, designed for the serious home or professional chef. Featuring a large bottom bow grip that can accommodate up to three fingers for comfort and stronger torque, the Profesional exhibits the classic simplicity and beauty that Pallarès is known for. The lower edge is serrated for grip and traction. These blades are exceptionally sharp, so caution in use is recommended!
Crafted in Cuchillería Pallarès in Solsona, Spain, the Profesional Cocina is produced in the last remaining workshop in an area that has been famous for centuries for the manufacture of quality blades. All Pallarès scissors are fully hand-ground and assembled on-site.

Pallarès 8" Profesional Cocina
The scissors were poorly packaged. The twist-ties that kept the scissors in place had come undone during shipping and the scissors were rattling around loose inside the box. The FAQ says the scissors are inspected 3 times and handled with gloves, but the scissors had deep, etched, tangible scratches on one part of the handle. Ciselier was responsive but dismissive of my concerns. The response I received was that this was due to the scissors being handmade and that I would not find scissors that met my expectations. I was told to return the scissors at my own expense.
We were very sorry to hear that Mr. Ricardo was unhappy with his scissors; dozens of our customers have given them 5-star reviews. In a goodwill exception to our Returns Policy (which covers mechanical defects only) we offered to refund Mr. Ricardo's purchase price upon return of the unused scissors. We explained that unplated, hand-polished scissors will always have small marks that reflect the manufacturing process, which includes using polishing wheels. The mark that Mr. Ricardo described is from the hand of the maker. The Pallarès Profesional Cocina are forged from carbon steel and oil-hardened - it is not possible for them to become scratched in transit within our custom-designed cardboard packaging. Our offer stands to Mr. Ricardo to return his unused scissors for a refund.
These scissors are fire! Clip through bone and cartilage like a katana.
It's nice when a product lives up to its promise. Scissors have been a pleasure to use.
