These beautifully crafted nickel-plated fabric scissors are sidebents, an offset design which allows the cutting blade to run flat on a surface to anchor a smoother cut. This pair of scissors is assembled at the Fennek workshop by hand and without the use of springs under the fastening screw, a common "shortcut" used to speed production that impacts long-term performance and overall quality.
These fabric scissors - also referred to as tailor's shears - are perfect for cutting medium-weight material. Made in the traditional way, they are extremely hard-working and long-lasting.

I use scissors a lot; mostly for leather, canvas, heavy and thick materials. When I started sewing with lighter fabrics for fashion and personal clothing I wanted something better than your standard craft store “fabric scissors”. I’ve owned my fair share of $40 scissor that dull quickly and don’t manage corners at all.
These scissors blew me away and reminded me of my grandmothers pair of singer scissors from the 40’s. Sharp, well weighted and can cut a corner without stopping. These will be well used and cherished for years to come.
