In 1930, following the Spanish Civil War, the seven brothers of the Bueno family began crafting scissors entirely by hand. Their company flourished and “Tres Claveles”, now one of Europe’s largest scissor makers, is synonymous with quality. Claveles has embraced some aspects of modernization, but only in order to achieve higher standards and sustainability. The name means “carnation” - the Spanish national flower - a fitting metaphor for a thriving company founded during a very difficult time.
