Fennek 8" Italiano Classico Kitchen - Ciselier Exclusive

I purchased these scissors as a gift for my son in Brooklyn. He was delighted when he received the package. I was looking for a birthday gift and knew that it was going to be a pair of kitchen scissors/shears. We have been making do for many years with a pair of no name plastic handled ones, which (sort of) worked ok, but not really a pleasing user experience. I dug through the various descriptions on this site, and chose the Fennek Classico as it looked to be in the Goldilocks zone for size, and very importantly, was easy to disassemble for cleaning. The reality does not disappoint. It is not too big, not too small, is easy to use, simple to disassemble and clean. One of my concerns was adjustment over time as the pivot wears. I have no idea what timeframe that would be, but the design is such that it would be relatively simple to remove the pivot and carefully stone/adjust the height if this is needed. Yes they are a bit pricey, but only in comparison to stamped out mass produced stuff. It is right in the price pocket for good chef knives - not bad for a cutting tool that is more involved to produce than a knife.

These Italian kitchen scissors, by Fenneks, are exceptional! The are beautiful, feel great when using, function perfectly ...pure artisan perfection. They are iconic and will become legacy witihin our family's kitchen, assisting in the preparation of many meals to come.
