Fennek 8" Italiano Classico Kitchen - Ciselier Exclusive

Length: 8”

The famous Fenneks are finally back in stock!  These impossible-to-get handmade scissors are exclusive to Ciselier - get yours while you can.

This stainless steel pair of classic Italian kitchen scissors, recently featured in Bloomberg Businessweek magazine and the Wall Street Journal, are handmade by Fennek (Italian for "Fox") a little-known, but highly respected Premanese scissormaking shop. Featuring a bone notch in the forward blade, as well as deep serrations for firm grip and stability while cutting, this form is amongst our most popular. Lightweight and multi-purpose (note the bottle opener and cracker functions between the handles). Options include break-apart blades for easy cleaning or fixed blades for more varied uses.

  • AISI 420 stainless steel
  • High hardenability and strength
  • Resistant to acidic and alkaline substances
  • Perfect for the chef!

An essential in the kitchen, we recommend considering having two pairs of hot forged kitchen shears in varying sizes and styles; once you do, you'll find yourself reaching for your knives and tidying up less and less... and you may never go back!

An unusual review I promise

I inherited a scissors exactly like this one. It’s at least 75 years old. The NYT ad gave me a jolt .. I’d never seen one like the one I have. So I’m investigating. Yes, that’s the one! It’s my favorite kitchen items kept in a certain slot my husband insists on changing. We’re still married ! It does everything.. I use it everyday. Is it possible you’ve produced it?
I love it anyway. ..

The Good Good Scissors h

You know what? I’ve had this tool for almost a month. I have yet to use it to cut anything. I think it may be just too beautiful! Remember, as a kid, your house had scissors - maybe 2 or 3 pairs. But Mom always had ‘the Good Scissors’. These were reserved for special cutting occasions. Like Christmas Wrapping Week, or when Dad ceremoniously destroyed his Platinum Amex card as it had exceeded its unlimited maximum.
Well, these are even better than the Good Scissors. They will hold a higher place in my home than that of merely cutting stuff. They are a piece of art - a masterpiece of design and functional magnificence.

Wow, John. Thank you!!
